Focused classes

This course focuses on establishing a training opportunity for Mum’s & Dad’s of ‘pre-school Youngsters to develop and assist hidden talents their child. Parents of pre-school youngsters are made aware to observe, recognise, develop and nurture their youngsters by teaching them to be creative, and to develop early learning skills in drawing and self expression. By developing these skills in the early stages of childhood, youngsters learn not to deface community property and are encouraged to focus on seeing their efforts published. This course it envisaged to be as an early prevention program that young artists are encouraged to be diverted away from displaying their artwork on public property. Early intervention is encouraged rather than resulting in criminal convictions at a later stage in their young lives. This course is designed to create a special bond within the family structure and to enhance the child’s  schooling.

Seniors Classes

This course would suit grandparents in developing creative skills for their youngsters. The course is designed to develop student skills in creative drawing and cartooning, which in turn can be used to bond family relationships. This course focuses on self-expression and developing a new dimension within the art world.

School Teacher Classes

This course is designed to add to a teacher’s skills base which can then be passed onto their students in order to express a message, amuse and re-enforce visual expression that will impress and connect with their class students. Cartooning is yet another tool that a teacher can carry with little or no effort and use with confidence. The use of humour is an established fact that it can break through barriers.

Special Community service classes for anti-social teenagers

This is a special program directly aimed at young offenders who are caught in the cycle of vandalism by needlessly defacing public, private and community property. Vandals take life threatening risks in order to gain recognition of their “tag” name, logo etc, in order to impress their peers. They act regardless of the consequences.

This program is aimed to address and focus away from graffiti towards rewards in other directions that will encourage want-to-be-artists to become more responsible as members of the community in which they live.

Tutor Training Classes

Consideration is currently being given for a new course. Students who show certain talent and skills could be selected for training as tutors for the Australian Institute of Cartooning. These students will undergo a comprehensive training program by the Institute.
